Situation with auto-recognize of exercise on Sense 2

I just updated to firmware 210.26 and I wanted to try the auto-recognizing of spinning sessions.  I ran into various problems including:

After manual start of spinning session, checking the screen 40 or so minutes, it displays the clock face instead of the session being recorded.  Cannot start another exercise session as pressing any exercise button does nothing.  I had to reboot the Sense 2 where things went back to normal, and the 45 min recorded session eventually sync'd to the app.

Letting the Sense 2 auto-recognize and start a spinning session, checking the screen after 1 hour or so, screen is displaying clock again with no ability to start another exercise session.  An hour or so later, the fitbit displays the current exercise session where I can stop the session.

On another Sense 2, it auto-recognizes spinning, but stopped the recording 3x, 15, 19 and 16min, and auto-started them soon after.  I turned auto-stop to off to prevent future stopping.  But does the Sense 2 recognize unconventional spinning moves.

Welcome back to the community, @phatbitzr.

Thanks for explaining your situation in regards to the Sense 2 having a situation when auto recognizing the spinning exercise. I appreciate your efforts on turning off the auto-stop function.

My best recommendation would be for you to start your workout manually, you can check this article on how to do so, in the part of 'How do I start and stop a workout on my Fitbit device?'. I'm positive this will help you.

Also, restart your Sense 2 just to make sure everything is ok.

I had to restart my Sense 2 just to get it back to the watch screen.

Weird thing, the next day on both Sense 2 trackers, when starting the exercise, I noticed it was displaying the update screen like another firmware was updating.  But upon checking the firmware version, it was the same version.  I wonder if the Exercise app was being updated.

Auto start seems to work fine for me, but auto stop seems to be very picky.  I noticed the watch displaying a few times if I want to stop the exercise, even though I am just taking a breather and maybe took my hands off the handlebar.

The main concern I have is when I am in the middle of recording an exercise, the exercise screen disappears and the watch reverts to the watch display, but the exercise seems to be still running behind the scene.  Since I had auto-stop enabled.  I just wait some time for the exercise to end, so I can  sync the exercise to the app, and I am able to start another exercise again (or the fitbit will auto-recognize another exercise).
