Sleep score not working on Sense 2

DEFINITELY NOT BEST SOLUTION

After app update, sleep score not working properly. Sense 2 version. Not using 194. The new app doesn't tell me what the version I have and I honestly don't remember.

Glad to see you participating in the forums @1GinnyME1.

Thank you for sharing the details regarding the situation with your Sense 2.

Keep in mind that you must see sleep stages in order to see a sleep score. There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

If you see sleep stages but don’t see a sleep score, please note that it may take a few minutes for your sleep score to appear. In addition, for better results please try to let the device detect that you're awake or asleep by itself rather than doing it manually and make sure to keep the devices' firmware updated to the latest version available.

The Sense 2 may need some days to collect some information (particularly regarding to heart rate) and provide sleep score, sleep stages and other data. Make sure that you've also tried the restart procedure described here and check if you continue to experience the same problem.

If go to beg at 11pm and get to pee at 3am, that's when my sleep says I started sleeping. This is definitely inaccurate.

I'm having the same issue and they don't seem to have a fix for it. They are currently telling me that my watch is beyond the 45 days for a refund, even though the issue was reported before the 45 days was up. If it is going to bother you, please return the watch now for a refund before you get stuck with a watch that won't update.

I've had a Fitbit since 3/2014. I'm not new to this. Just to appease you, I did all the steps indicated. The next day, I hit "Begin Sleep Now" and the exact same thing happened. I got up a few hours later to use the restroom & noted the time & went back to bed. The next day, I woke up, hit awake, waited for my Fitbit to sync and it said I went to bed went to pee during the night. Why can't you guys face the fact that your app is faulty, your update 194 is never going to be updated (you suggested to make sure my device firmware is up to date, I  don't want version 194).  I've had 3 Fitbits and when it was Fitbit. It's a shame Google is not doing anything to help people who spend $250+ on a Sense 2 just for it to be faulty & useless. I'm not e expecting a response from anyone. Thanks for wasting my money. I am single Mom and in tight in money. Please help me . Thank you. 1GinnyMe1

yep. Update provided no new insights and has broken stuff that had worked well for years. Oof!

I can see my sleep data if I click on the “No Data” of main screen. But the data does not synch with my employers incentivized wellness program, so this sorta bug has a financial penalty as well as simple frustration.

sense 2 has. Even a bitter disappointment after many years of really great VERSA

This problem started for me on 9/26 after the auto app update on my phone. Been using Fitbit for 7 years and never had a problem with any of the other devices I’ve owned over the years.
