I purchased a refurbished fitbit sense 2 and I've charged it fully to 100%. I can pair it with my android phone through the Fitbit app but it wants me to update the tracking software. I've tried numerous times but it always finishes the download and gets to nearly 50% installed on the device when the device suddenly seems to reboot, it asks me to select a language and stays at the info about pairing screen. The Fitbit app then tells me that the software update failed. I've tried rebooting my phone, the Fitbit, turning Bluetooth on and off, deleting the cached data on the app and signing in again. None of it has worked. Anyone know what to try next?

Hi @SicilKarateka - rebooting may not be enough.
Try Logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.
Make sure there are no other devices running the Fitbit App switched on.
Make sure you have a recent version of the Fitbit App but DON'T install version 4.x if possible, unless already done.
Remove the Bluetooth entries for any Sense from the phone.
Restart the watch by holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.
Login and try setup the watch again.

I ended up contacting Fitbit support directly and went through more troubleshooting and they determined I needed a replacement. Just got the replacement yesterday and it was able to update fine. Must have been a dud I got originally.
