Don't count on the warranty making a difference or this device lasting very long. After less than 6 months, the back metal plates of my device fell off, so I reached out to Fitbit to get my replacement, as I have done previously. In the past, this has always been a simple process, but now the support is outsourced to Google and they will do nothing but send you in circles. After weeks of waiting, I received the wrong device and now they won't do anything to help me - no refund, no replacement in the right color or even a non-refurbished replacement.
After 12+ years and 5 different upgrades, I'm going to buy a different smartwatch. Fitbit has gone WAY downhill with quality and customer service.
