I travel a lot which means lot of time zone changes. Even when set to update to my phones time zone it never does without manually toggling the time zone setting in the app.
This is a chronic problem with fitbit. Every other company seems to get this right why not fitbit?

Thanks for letting me know about this situation in regards to the timezone in your Sense 2.
I totally understand your situation, my best advice would be to continue changing the timezone manually.

I obviously will as the only choice. But what is frustrating is this has been an issue with multiple devices for multiple years. And since most other technologies get this right you should be able to as well. It suggests that the company simply doesn't care that much about it's customers or about excellence in their technology.
Why won't you, why haven't you fixed it.
