Hi, when I tap my screen on Sense 2, the screen will not turn on,

I have to push the side button to switch on the screen,

I have turned it off and on,

any other help to get the screen to respond to touch would be helpful, thanks

Thanks for the details regarding your Sense 2.

Have you tried to restart your device? In addition, I'd suggest changing the clock face.

I didn’t know this was supposed to happen. I only have the button or button/motion options to wake the device. Tapping the screen has never awakened the device. Is there a setting for this?

@Amyom2023  @Pjsbend  - double tapping the screen should wake it as well as button press.

If you pull down on the watch face and turn off all the icons it will wake the display when you raise your wrist to look at it.

Don't forget to visit watch Settings, Quiet modes to schedule a watch sleep time so that it doesn't automatically wake in the night, either from movement or notifications, this also dims the display, should you wake it manually in the night.

The only icon on is the dim mode. No, this watch has never awakened with a
tap. Ever. But there are a lot of issues with it. I think primarily because
I have an iPhone. Thanks again.

@Pjsbend - you may have a faulty watch, seeing your other posts, have you tried chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support, to get them to check it or replace it under warranty.

It’s definitely not reliable for many of the functions. I actually got it
free as a reward at work, so I can’t claim a warranty replacement,
unfortunately. Thanks again.
