I washed my hand and dried them and my Versa 2 heart rate monitor stopped working.
I have never taken a shower in it, washed dishes in it or went swimming with it on.
I contacted the online store where I bought it from and after trying resets, unpairing, deleting the app and factory resets it still didn’t work.
The store asked me to send it in where they tell me it has water damage and won’t turn on and isn’t covered by warranty.
The online seller is offering to either send the watch back as is or asked if I would like to purchase another watch.
I’m not sure what to do here as I thought it was water resistant and could handle washing of hands.

@BatboyFreestyle - if the watch is still under warranty insist on a replacement, water damage is covered and not considered accidental damage which is not covered.
Warranty is 1 year normally in the US and 2 years or more elsewhere, so check date of purchase.

Hi @BatboyFreestyle - if your watch is still under warranty it is covered for faults with the seals which can create water damage.

Thanks for your reply.
The sellers are refusing to honour the warranty due to the water damage regardless of the fact that it was only wet when washing hands.
Makes me sad
