What Fitbit shall I buy?

Hi there, I found a Fitbit Sense 2 in good condition in my local CeX (UK) for £95 (approx $128 USD) but I also found a Pixel Watch 2 for £110 (approx $148 USD) in good condition.

Which is the better choice? I use a Pixel 7 as my main phone so does ecosystem have a perk in this?

Hi @mamatka6, welcome to  the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with your decision on what to purchase.

For questions like this one i usually recommend to use our online tool to compare devices. Here is the link compare. In my opinion a "better choice" remains in the needs you may require from a smartwatch.  While Sense 2 is a smartwatch more oriented to activity tracking, the Pixel watch has more Smartwatch oriented features.

In addition, i can tell you that Fitbit devices run well in iOS and Android devices. On the other hand, Pixel watch is for Android only; so they are meant to better perform in this enviroment.

@mamatka6 they are both good devices and the choice really depends on what you are looking for.

The Sense 2 is a fitness tracker with some smart watch features. The Pixel Watch 2 is a  smartwatch but it also has all the activity and health tracking that the Sense 2 has. The Pixel Watch 2 comes loaded with lots of Google apps, but you can also download other apps to suit your needs.

What the Pixel Watch doesn't have is the battery life of the Sense 2 (or any other Fitbit). The Sense 2 can go 5 or 6 days between charging, depending which features you have enabled. The Pixel Watch 2 needs to be charged every day and that is a deal breaker for a lot of people.

Pixel Watches do some cool stuff when they are paired with a Pixel phone. You can sync alarms between the watch and the phone. The watch can be used to control the camera on the phone. If the watch detects that you are sleeping, it will put itself and the phone into "Sleep" mode so you aren't disturbed by notifications. You can set the watch to unlock the phone without having to use your passcode or fingerprint.

So, the choice is lots of features but poor battery life (Pixel Watch 2) versus fewer features but better battery life (Sense 2).
