To all of you who are using the new Sense 2, what do you think? I’ve been using the Sense since launch in 2020, and have had a positive experience. Would you recommend upgrading?

If you like what you have, why change?

HI @jecobdruv - I agree with @JohnnyRow - have a look at what people feel about the features found on the Sense which are missing on the Sense 2 at a much higher price.

One more agreement, if you like the Sense 1 I suggest you do not upgrade, there are no real improvements and loss of several features in the Sense 2.

We just got the Sense and the Sense 2 respectively and other than the button instead of the haptic and a couple of updated sensors the original Sense does more, but as for our purposes they pretty much do exactly the same thing.
I have real issues with the dummying down of the Fitbit products and we all know why, Google wants to sell their overpriced, ugly, 1 day battery crap. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Fitbit being absorbed into the Google watch and just using the app under a new name over the next few years.
This being said, other than what I’ve already mentioned this so far is my favourite Fitbit yet, It’s the most comfortable Fitbit I’ve owned, it doesn’t wake me up by digging into my wrist like my ionic did, I finally have a display I can see in the sun, the interface is simple, the raise to wake finally works all the time, and it does all this with a 4-6 day battery life.
If Google doesn’t shoot them selves in the foot and abandon the Fitbit brand I will probably consider purchasing another one when it’s time.

Keep your Sense. The Sense 2 should be called the Sense -2. It is a complete downgrade from the original. They've stripped everything from it that made the Sense enjoyable. Google Wallet is broken. No Google Assistant support (Only gross Alexa) No more Fitbit Pay. No more music support. No more 3rd party apps. Extremely expensive for what it is.
It's odd that Google now owns the company. You'd think it was an Amazon product.
I and many others are very upset because they advertised this product as something that it is not. They won't accept returns or exchanges and won't admit to the lies they used to sell the product. We've been duped.
So it's a stripped down Sense to give you the short answer. Not worth the $$$ at the slightest. So if you are pleased with your Sense and there is nothing wrong with it, KEEP IT!
I used to have the Ionic and then they recalled those because of the bad LiPo batteries, so I bought the Sense with the settlement $$$. Gave it to my sister and thought I was getting a better device with the Sense 2. I was totally wrong and am paying the price now. This will be the last Fitbit product I purchase.
