Inadvertently I set my age twenty years younger than I am. Now that my correct age is in place will my Fitbit adjust targets and, if so, which ones?

Hello @donscott67 and welcome to the Community.  There are two things that I can think of off the top of my head.

  • Your age is used in your BMR calculation.  It might be used in the calorie burn algorithm.  That calculation is proprietary.  You will see a change in your daily calorie burn.
  • Your age is used to calculate your heart rate zones for your active zone minutes.  You will see a significant change in your zones.

Thanks so much for the info. I now see the change during exercise. Instead of cardio zone peak is where most of my walk is.
