WhatsApp notifications not available

I’ve just bought and installed my Sense 2, after my Versa 3 stopped working. However, I can’t seem to enable WhatsApp notifications on my new Sense. They worked fine on the Versa but they don’t even appear as an option on the Sense to toggle on.
Anyone else had the same issue? I’ve trawled the forum and done all the usuals but no use.

Hi @vickyp46 - there's a special way to get them on an iPhone which entails having a pending notification on the status bar.

How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

I can get WhatsApp notifications on my Sense 2 without an issue.

Open the app and tap on the icon in the upper left (the newest version displays battery percentage). Tap on Sense 2 under Devices. Tap on Notifications. If you like you can set WhatsApp as your default under Text Messages, or by tapping on App Notifications you can get notifications for other apps.

For example, Google Messages is my default text message app set in the Fitbit app, but I have WhatsApp checked in App Notifications. That setup works fine for me.

I have a Pixel 6a with the January 2024 patch and Android 14. Fitbit app 4.06.7, and firmware 194.86 on my Fitbit.

Hope this helps.
