When will Sense 2 Google Maps be available for iOS?

I know this might be a hard question to answer but when I pre ordered my Sense 2, I was led to believe that an update was coming “soon” to allow us to use the Google Map app. Does anyone have a clue when FirBit might put out this update? I’m running on the IOS operating system.

@Rich_Laue you must be kidding. Did you read the topic? It says clearly "iOS" and @Sailorhudson said: " I’m running on the IOS operating system." 🤦‍

Sorry @t.parker but when I posted to a thread titled Google maps. Since then the thread was merged into another thread

I only posted because of my experience of being on Android and not having maps for weeks after I was suppose to have it. Even after an Android Fitbit update, I still did not have maps. It wasn't until I logged out on 4/13 and back in before I saw the option to setup maps. My post was on the 16th.

Even my notice of your response showed the original title, as your notice should

I restarted my watch and think I’ve done all the set up procedures required but can’t seem to get the map feature to give me any information or directions. Suggestions?

To clarify you have v3.8 of the IOS Fitbit app.   Also are you still able to sync your health data via Bluetooth per normal?  I literally had to restart my iPhone for some reason before I was able to get the watch to behave as expected.

@Sailorhudson   "Coming soon" seems to be here now and rolling out.  I got the Google maps app for my Sense 2 today on iOS.

You need to start on your phone, (Note that Google Maps works on your watch only if you use Google Maps on your phone to navigate). If you have auto-start on for all modes, then it opens for you, but if not then open Google Maps and click view after starting on your phone.
