I'm really sad about that! I'm totally regretting this purchase.

Hi @rafven - Good question - the Sense 2 and Versa 4 do not support any apps, per se.
It would seem that apps have been replaced by Fitbit system functions, which can only be developed by Fitbit.
For example, on previous watches there were already system functions such as, Google Assistant, Quick Settings, Music controls [which was far better than having to use the Spotify app and pay for premium, as you could adjust the volume or control any music, not just Spotify, and without having to stop what you were doing].
Other things like Settings, Weather, Alarm, Timers, Agenda were just apps.
The problem with that is you had to switch out of clock mode to run the apps [and vica versa], but not so for the systems functions, which would run regardless of if you were in an exercise app or clock face, giving a sort of multi tasking.
On the new watches there appears to be only clocks or system functions [even tiles]. The advantage is your clock will run regardless of which system function you are in but you are limited to those system functions that Fitbit chooses to make available.
As Fitbit is withdrawing Music from all the watches, bit by bit, there is no longer any need to develop something for Music of any sort on the Sense 2 or Versa 4.

They are removing all music apps from fitbit. I was using Deezer and have been told that as of March that it will be removed. Personally I think it is very poor of fitbit to remove something they advertise their watch being capable of. I have contacted them and been told I can have a refund on the watch. I just need to find my receipt

Fitbit are removing all music apps from their devices. Deezer will be removed as of March 2023. Personally think this is very poor service. I bought the sense due to its music capabilities. If I had of known it wasn't going to be supported for the life of the watch I would of chose differently. I have contacted fitbit and been advised I can have a full refund if I can provide my receipt. Anyone else who feels let down by fitbit and their continual recalls/breakdowns and poor service should do the same

Hi @woolly1973 - Please let us know which watch you have and how long you have had it as your post has been merged into the Sense 2 forum and if you were using Deezer you may have a Sense? You response may be more helpful for Sense users.

Hi @Guy_ ,
I understand what are you saying, but in my opinion the company is doing a step back. Choose to limit the Fitbit just to the system apps can be for sure better in terms of support effort and battery optimization. I think that leave the watch open to third-party apps makes everything more interesting.

There is no problem with them concentrating more on the fitness side of the watch, but it should be for new watches/future models not for ones that they have advertised having the features. Personally if I had of known they were not going to support features I wanted in the future I would chose a different watch.
