Will Sense 2 overwrite my past data after set up?

I have a versa 2 and just upgraded to the Sense 2. I have had the versa for a year or so and I have been tracking sleep primarily. I am curious if the Sense will overwrite the past data or if it will automatically import it. Am I about to lose a years worth of data points?

All your data is stored on your account and you won't lose anything. When you add new watch to your account it adds data from the time it's activated. Your previous data is safe.

Thanks!!  I was hoping this would be the case.. but  had to ask in case I needed a work around.
