Or has Google decided that this is the end of it?
Context: I am extremely happy with the Sense 2 hardware, but the software suggests that a number of features were not finished before the cut-off date.
A simple example: I receive an e-mail when my battery is low (far too early). I don’t need this, since my watch is on my wrist and gives me the same notification. However, when the watch is fully charged, by definition it is NOT on my wrist and I get NO notification at all, no E-mail, no notification on my smartphone, nothing...
This is just one example of so many features that could easily be added without impacting the hardware.

@Umbra55 Fitbit is very hush, hush about firmware updates for its devices. No one here knows the answer to your question. I'm sorry that my first answer didn't help you. Firmware updates are device specific (Sense 2/Versa 4 in this case). Your example isn't device specific and would get added to the Fitbit app for all users.

@Umbra55 There is a request in the Product Feedback forum asking for a push notification to your phone when your device is fully charged. I think this is what you are asking for. Please vote for and leave a comment on it if it meets your needs. This would be an addition to the app and wouldn't be device specific.

Thanks for the reply, but the push notification was just an example. The real question was if we can hope to see further software updates. Letting users make improvement suggestions is a waste of time for everybody, if Google has decided to let Fitfit slowly die.
