Same thing happened to me, I manually logged the workout twice and it cleared all the data both times.

Best Answer@penbee and @SunsetRunner according to the Fitbit Status Dashboard there was an interruption of service this morning. It appears to be resolved now. If you're still having issues, try restarting your Fitbit and your mobile device..

Best AnswerDespite restarting my phone, deleting and reinstalling the app, logging out and in, device on and off, it will not log my workout from this morning. It deletes within 20 seconds of it being manually input.
Best Answer@SunsetRunner it seems that Down Detector is still showing a potential problem with the Fitbit app. I don't have any other troubleshooting advice for you, because I think this is an issue on Fitbit's end.
