@Elizabeth49 Many types of electronic devices can be damaged by the very strong magnetic field in an MRI, including smartwatches. I think you're out of luck.

Hi @Elizabeth49 - it may need charging and as the watch might have been demagnetised the charge cable may no longer connect properly.
You can try holding it in place or take the charge cable with you for the next MRI !!
The hospital shouldn't allow patients to wear anything metal during an MRI - this has happened to other users also and is a common question/issue if you look in the forums for "MRI".

I hope you are being facetious, since you next comment correctly advises that patients shouldn't bring any ferrous metal into an MRI suite. If you aren't being facetious, an MRI can't repolarize magnets.
