"to pay double click on side button" message constantly

Setup my new sense 2, all went ok, but I'm getting this message showing practically every time I raise my wrist to see the time "to pay double click on the side button" with a little blob flashing showing you were the button is. 

I have tried double clicking it just takes me to the four unchangeable shortcuts, I've tried turning off long press, I've tried setting up wallet in the watch, I even factory reset the watch, cleared my cache in the app storage, delete the app, nothing has worked.

So annoying I've put the watch back in the box and will return unless it's a known issue

UPDATE : after no help what so ever, from Fitbit, I took the watch back, thankfully I got my money back and can move on to another watch, probably a Garmin
