Activate Fitbit Sense without a smartphone

I have purchased a Fitbit Sense after seeing that Fitbit products could be used without a smartphone and with the windows 10 app instead, because I don't own a smartphone and my tablet is too old and is incompatible with the Fitbit Android App.

My Fitbit was successfully recognized by the windows 10 app and I followed the different steps and now it is supposed to be setup. However I still get the "to start download the fitbit app" message and I can't access anything on the watch.

Anyone knows how I can proceed with the activation, without using a smartphone?

All new Fitbit trackers including the Sense require a smart phone either iOS or Android they stopped any other methods.
