Got new Sense last week to update Versa with a failing screen. Usual set up problems, but active zone minutes have dramatically reduced from approx 80 a day to around 20., with no change to activity regime. Is this a software issue or other know problem.
My wife runs an identical set-up on an iPhone 11 and she has no issues?
I have been having issues the past couple of days where it is only showing 2 minutes of activity, when I know have done at least 15 or 20 minutes. Especially when you view my Heart rate which is tracking the entire time. It is just very frustrating. I just want to get credit for what I am doing. Or my Heart rate is below zones. I wear my watch fairly tight on my wrist, so this should not be happening.
I noticed the same thing. In fact, when I do some cycling it shows (say) 30 Active Minutes in the details, but doesn't make it to the dashboard. The last couple of app releases are very buggy. When I enter 100 grams of (say) chicken breast, it shows 10,000 calories. I have to exit the app and come back in an try again. Eventually it works.
The Fitbit app is a bit of a mess.... It has never been polished and seems to be getting worse. I have no complaints with the Sense really, but the two need to work together flawlessly, and it's not the case.
This might be related to Sense's inability to accurately sense heart rate. It seems like a big problem raised repeatedly by the community that remains unaddressed by Fitbit. If the device doesn't detect that your heart rate has risen, the activity doesn't count toward active zone minutes. Just got a Sense and it's very disappointing.
Update - I managed to fix this problem by resetting and cleaning my Fitbit and wearing a sweatband below it so that it doesn't keep slipping down my wrist. My zone minutes are good everyday now.
