Always needing to charge

I just got my sense, upgrade from versa 3. Regretting!! I have to charge this thing every other day. I do nothing but  wear it, I haven't been able to figure out, had my kid turn everything off. Still battery dies.  Sitting  on my desk it dies.

Does anyone know why...

First, welcome to the community.

Second, there's a very good post on battery life:

Personally, the best settings I found that's getting me 5 full days of battery is brightness dim, screen wake button only, always on display on, snore & noise detection off. Even if I do always on display on and screen wake button only, I can get 3 whole days worth. The biggest culprit in overnight drain is snore and noise detection which I only left on for 4 days. Once I saw it was none to minimal, I turned it off. With it on I got up to 20% lost in 7 hours. With it off, 6-8% in 7 hours.
