Answer Call Feature issues

I am an android user, and when I first set up my sense I would be able to receive calls from the Facebook Messenger app as well as my phone's call application. After factory resetting my sense and setting everything up again, it won't show call notifications for Facebook Messenger, yet works for other applications like Google duo. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app, resetting call notifications and notifications, pairing and repairing, restarting my sense and nothing. Anyone have any fixes/ideas on how to get Facebook Messenger call notifications displayed again on my sense? Thank you!

@AnngieeS i do not use fb messenger but i suspect it's the same issue as with whatsapp calls and the way they are displayed in the notification centre. so far i havent been able to find a workaround.
