I've bought the Fitbit Sense directly from Fitbit.com. I was excited on this loaded fitness watch. Since it claims to have 6 day battery life, I have been keeping track on this. I can say the first month kind of live up to that. But it started to need more frequent charge, like every 3 days. I use the sense for keeping track on my workout, like 4 times a week about an hour session each. Yes, I do use it to keep track for my sleep and such, occasionally I would turn on to track hiking/walk. But I don't use that much anymore because it eats up battery which is sad. My Ionic has a longer battery life than the Sense and I turned on hiking a lot with my Ionic. I don't use Sense for music or anything else. Purely for fitness and I wear it all the time. Does anyone have the same issue as mine?
The other is the weather sync, it sucks, sucks and sucks. It just not happening and I have to turn it off and on a few times to get it going. Sometimes it simply doesn't.
I like to hear some feedback from this community since the customer service are not very good, not like what i used to be prior to the bought over.

Hi @Cestmoi,
besides GPS enabled training the biggest battery drainer from my point of view is the "hidden" SpO2 tracker. After the launch of that tracker, it will permanently tun in the background. If you do not require every night SpO2 measure just have try to uninstall that tracker and restart your device.
Before they introduced the SpO2 tracker app you were able to activate the SpO2 tracking just by changing the clock face to the SpO2 one. Hence, you were able to control your battery and collect SpO2 just every few nights. As consequence I currently do not use the SpO2 tracker, and I am really happy with the battery lifetime. For me the lifetime is better than with my Ionic before.

Hiking, Walking and Running I do believe turns on the GPS, the GPS being on for 12 hours will completely drain the battery..
Adding more apps can also eat up battery.
Now some of the watch faces you might decide to download show a lot of data such as: Cardio, Steps, Weather, Heart rate, Time, Day, Distance and such will also drain the battery faster as it forcing the watch to show more data at one time.
So the weather sync it seems a bit weird to me also but I don't use a dedicated cellphone so I only sync my watch to my cell about twice a day I noticed the watch just stores up to 6 pm the weather forecast so I usually resync my watch a little after 6 pm seems to keep the weather showing fairly well on mine.

I second what @sancho90 says above. If you don't require the night time spO2 reading, it's best to uninstall the SpO2 app, you may not even know it's on your device as it's a hidden app. You need to go onto the Fitbit app on your phone - tap on profile picture - sense - Apps tile and remove from "my apps".
With the SpO2 app installed my battery life is reduced to about 3-4 days, with it uninstalled I get around 5-6 days.

Prior to having the Fitbit Sense, I had the Ionic. Syncing the weather was never a problem. The Fitbit Sense is always a hit or miss but to me, more miss than hit. Absolutely unhappy about it. I've read up some review saying the same thing. For me, a lot of times I had to sync a few times and turn off the watch and turn back on and sync again. But no guarantee it will work every time. So frustrating. This is something Fitbit needs to improve on this. Paid a lot of money for this watch, it just needs to fully execute all it has smoothly and effortlessly.
Totally agreed on the GPS draining the battery. I used the Ionic pretty much the same way but battery didn't get drained as fast as the Fitbit Sense. Very disappointing honestly.
Thanks for your response and the tips on the weather sync.

Thank you for your response and the suggestion. I think you are right about the SpO2 running in the background is one of the source of draining battery life. I can tell from my record how often I have to charge my watch.

Thank you and I will just do that.
