Hi,
I have just had a Charge 4 tracker for 4 weeks but I have returned it because of two main issues that both relate to heart rate monitoring. I want to own a Fitbit product as all my family use them and so I can participate in some healthy family competitions ("The Work Week Hustle).
Despite many conversations/chats, and following all recommendations from the Fitbit support team, my Charge 4 was registering my resting heart rate at 37ish, which I know is not correct. I am in my 60s, reasonably fit, but not that fit! The second issue was tracking sleep.....some nights I had no sleep score/tracking, some nights advising of 1 to 2 hours and occasionally, something that represented a realistic length of sleep time. BUT....not on one night in the 4 weeks was the recording good enough to give me a Sleep Score.
Does anyone know if the heart rate tracking technology used in the Versa 3 or Sense gives more accurate recording of heart rates.....or is what is used in the Charge 4 as good as it gets in a Fitbit product.
Thanks in advance for people's thoughts

Heart rate accuracy: NOPE. That is a big problem that a lot of Sense users ( and I am sure not inly for Sense) are having. The HR is inaccurate and there still have no fix for it

@SunsetRunner as others say, Sense (and Versa) seem to experience HR inaccuracy problems. Just to back it up here are links to my recent HR analysis:

I posted a lot more here showing how bad the HR sensor is. Tried two Sense watches. "Sensing" HR is pretty much broken. At least, this is what data analysis shows.

I have the sense , and the charge 4 , I somtimes switch from sense to charge 4 .
heart rate on the charge 4 is beter than the sense , but sense is not always bat .
advantage of the sense is that you can do an ecg reading .
about the low heartrate, are you sure that it’s not , cause I had one time a reading of 44 , and I was to the dokter , cause I’m diabetic the dokter says , the blood had more difficulty to flow , that’s why I had a low heartrate reading , but the Fitbit can mis somtimes the heartrate, but if it’s every day , than I wil first go to a dokter and let me check there first .
