One of the reasons I got the Sense was because it has some algorithm that can estimate blood pressure. I am wondering if anyone has tried to estimate what their BP might be along with their heart rate.
A few days ago, I woke up and my heart rate was 90 whereas it is normally low 60s. I felt fine but maybe a little like I had a caffeine high and not a lot of energy. I checked my BP and it was up in the 140s rather than the usual low 120s. The next day things were normal so I wondered if anyone tracks their 'moods', activity etc. along with BP to see if there is a correlation that might be a useful guide for health - and no I am not suggesting that anyone relies on their results if they have serious BP issues!

Blood pressure estimation algorithm - I'm not aware on any by Fitbit. Is this some third-party app? If so, name?

Hi @katecopsey - the Sense can't estimate blood pressure like some other watches, an Umidigi Ufit for example, though even on that it is only a relatively primitive extrapolation.
The correlation between BP and heart rate is a complicated medical situation which would be outside the scope of a Sense. Probably you will find your BP monitor may have low or high BP but with no relation to the heart rate. Even when you are ill you can have a higher than normal heart rate but you may have a higher or lower, or even normal BP.
The best is to look in a medical forum for the information you are referring to, also it should be noted that the Sense can produce erratic HR, so it might not even be able to do any comparisons.

@katecopsey I'm not sure where you got your information, but the Sense doesn't have an algorithm to estimate blood pressure. Fitbit doesn't have a tile where users can enter blood pressure. I wear a Versa 3 -- I know the Sense has some stress management features that aren't in the Versa 3, but I'm not familiar with them. Fitbit doesn't have a journal where you can log and comment.
Perhaps another user who had a similar experience will chime in.

There was a blog about the work they are doing with pulse arrival time etc. I am not sure that it is actually doing this yet but my thought was to see if I could just play with the idea.

@katecopsey- thanks for the article, which is a year old, and in that time there has been no improvement in measuring heart rate accurately, so it would seem highly improbable that anything involving heart measurement will ever appear on a Sense or Versa 3.
