Bluetooth disconnecting from Android phone.

My new sense keeps disconnecting from the Bluetooth of my Android phone. Even if the phone is right next to the watch. Never had this problem with my old Versa Lite. If I turn off Bluetooth on phone, then turn back on, watch connects. A few minutes later, it disconnects. Makes watch useless to me. Anyone else having this problem

Hi, @Scaryoldmike, welcome to the community, check the Fitbit app in your phone app tray, and under "battery" ensure the setting is unrestricted, allowing the app to use the battery in the background without restrictions. Some phones close the app down to save juice treating it as unimportant where we need it running in the background continuously.

I hope this helps.

Cheers

Thanks. I disabled the battery saver in my settings. Will see if that makes any difference.

Sorry to say but the problem persists. Lengthy chat with Fitbit help desk was similarly fruitless. Guess I will have to return the watch and go to some other brand
