I just received my sense today. I plugged it in, updated the watch through my phone and about an hour later the screen is black and stays black. The watch does vibrate but will not come on. I have tried holding the button for 10 seconds and I can feel it vibrate when it turns off and it vibrates when it comes back on. I have done it numerous times and hasn't helped. I also plugged it in, let it charge for 5-10 minutes and tried to reset it and it was the same result. It vibrates, but the screen stays black.
Any advice on how to get the screen to turn back on?

Just got my sense a little over a week ago and mine is doing the same thing, except in addition to the black screen, sometimes it will flash black and white. The regular fitbit support couldnt help so now I'm waiting to hear from a specialized team I guess. Kinda makes me disappointed in Fitbit and deciding maybe it's better to return and go with a Samsung watch instead.
Received mine today worked for 1:30hr before screen went black and now won’t charge so disappointing tried all the troubleshooting frustrating as my versa only worked for 8 months and DHL lost my replacement so purchased an upgrade 😔
mine is out of warranty. But these things should not break after a year. So disappointed. And now they want me to buy a new one. I think I’ll opt for the Apple Watch. This time. Why would I want to buy another piece of crap. I didn’t do anything to it. And this black screen after an update? Fitbit needs to get their act together. And help us consumers.
Exactly and they haven’t fixed the issue with the face coming off? It’s a poor design all around. My Fitbit sense wound up dying completely after that update. It would not charge or keep a charge in addition to the black face issue. I bought an Apple Watch instead.
