Calorie counting inaccurate

When I wear my sense to swim, it counts my calorie burn 50% less than my Apple Watch.  For example, my sense will say I burned 150 calories and my apple watch will say I burned 300 calories  for the same swim.  How do I know which device is correct?  I tend to believe the apple watch because I find it hard to believe that swimming for 35 minutes rigorously only burns 150 calories, but I’m not sure.  Any feedback would be appreciated.
