Every day I wake up with 700 calories and 0 steps, is it normal? Apparently I gain calories while I sleep. Odd.

You burn BMR (basal Metabolic Rate) calories without steps while you sleep by breathing, your heart beating, digesting, etc. and all day.  Your BMR calories are usually more than half the calories you burn in a day.

Your BMR calories are based on your height, weight, sex, and age, and are credited even when not wearing the watch.
