Is it true we can't uninstall the useless weather app? It says it 15 degrees here, yes it displays the correct city, but it's 60 degrees. Does anyone know how to uninstall the weather app?

No, you can't uninstall it. But if you don't like it, you can revoke all the permissions to conserve battery.

@SunsetRunner I would've guess it was in Celsius too. Try toggling it to Celsius and back to Fahrenheit. There's no need to sync. It happens immediately. You can even try having the weather on your watch while you toggle it on your phone.

Hi @SunsetRunner - here is the link for setting the temperature for weather, note the part about cities, How to change Temperature - for Weather, Centigrade - Fahrenheit, Sense
Also check permissions while there.
Normally there is no need to uninstall it but you can.
If weather is showing in a clock face then contact the developer if it's not working.

@SunsetRunner - if the weather shows correctly why do you want to uninstall it?
It seems to be an integral part of the firmware, in other words it needs to be there as there are displays/functions that depend on it.

@SunsetRunner so the location is right, it's supposed to be in Fahrenheit, the temperatures are still showing less than it really?
Are you 100% sure it's set to Fahrenheit? Can you share a screenshot that it is?

@SunsetRunner - I found this for weather temperature units on the watch but not for in the clock faces which may have their own settings.

Hi everyone, and thanks for stopping by to help our members.
@SunsetRunner and @Ruth_anne_b Thanks for the details provided and your efforts while working on this. Before anything else, let me share that it's not possible to uninstall the Weather app from your Sense. I understand how helpful it'd be to have that option available and my best advice is to support this idea requested in the Feature Suggestions board. That way, our developers can take it into consideration and track its demand over time.
About your other question, as other members mentioned there, there are two sets of units in the Fitbit app: one is for the skin temperature tile, and the other one is for the Weather app. Because your watch seems to show the incorrect weather, please make sure the correct units are selected by doing the following:

Thank you so much!!

this fixed my issue, but why the temp settings in 2 separate places? When you set it in the main app settings it makes no sense to have to do it separately in the weather app.

Hi there, @yeffers.
I'm glad you sorted this out and thanks for your efforts. About your other question, although they seem similar, both sets of settings correspond to different features.
The steps shared above will help you to change the units used for the the Weather app. On the other hand, the other settings are for your skin temperature which affect the data displayed on both the Temperature tile and Health Metrics tiles. I'm sorry if this caused any confusion and I appreciate your feedback. Please know we'll continue working to improve and make Fitbit more useful for you.
