Do you know when FitBit will fix it so will synch with Windows 10 ?
The curious thing is I just downloaded the fitbit app for Windows!
and it lists almost EVERY Fitbit ... EXCEPT the sense!?!?!?!

I want to get my elderly mother on a FitBit but she is NOT going to get a modern "smart" phone and Windows 10 is what she has on her laptop.

So when will Fit Bit fix that?  Especially  since FitBit seems to synch Windows 10 and all the OTHER products????

THANKS if you or anyone else knows?

Hi there, @solar2dmax.

Thanks for the details provided and your efforts while working on this matter. As you may know, let me explain that our latest models were optimized to work with Android and iOS devices and not computers. I understand where you're coming from and because the Sense won't work correctly with Windows 10 devices, my best advice is to borrow a compatible mobile device to sync and keep your mother's data updated.

I'm sorry for this inconvenience. Our team constantly works to improve our devices and the input we receive from our members is a big part of the process. Your feedback is truly appreciated and to find more about the Sense, let me recommend the User Manual.

@solar2dmax You can sync Sense with Dashboard at fitbit . com. , but the first set up must be done with a phone.

Hi solar2dmax,

I'm not sure why my Sense connects via Bluetooth to my computer whilst I see so many others having difficulty making this connection. I know that I originally set it up using an old dongle but then it connected without the dongle. All I know is that it is connected and syncs without too much trouble. When I open the app it immediately tells me that it is syncing. For daily use I only use the iPhone for syncing but occasionally like to use the computer to have a larger screen etc.

Good luck with setting up your mother.

Hi there, @LokeAa and @Teecher.

Thanks for stopping by to share your insights and suggestions about this situation. Just let me clarify that your fitbit.com dashboard is a website where you can see your details. However, your Sense must sync with a compatible mobile device in order to show all your data updated.

While I understand some of you were able to sync with Windows 10 devices, take in mind that the connection may not always work since your watch wasn't optimized for those devices. Nonetheless, I appreciate your efforts and if you need anything else, you can always share it here to receive help from the Community.

Thanks for your message, Lizzy. I guess that I must have a super iPhone it that is the case as my Sense still syncs with the computer when the iPhone is turned off. Amazing stuff. The only use the computer occasionally but it definitely doesn't need the iPhone to sync so perhaps it has some leftover functionality from previous devices. In any case I'm not concerned whilst it's working for me.

Are there any plans of making Fitbit compatible with Windows?

From what I hear this is the major issue for people for will not use Fitbit...

@ewallin if an App for Windows is a major issue, what do they choose, no smart watch? I cant think of any other brand having an app for Windows. Fitbit had (still working for some Fitbit devices) but it was discontinued a few years back. I suppose it was discontinued because it wasn't used by many. You also have Fitbit Dashboard in your browser with some functionality.

Hi there, @ewallin@LokeAa Thanks for stopping by to help our members.

@ewallin Thanks for joining this thread. I understand where you're coming from and while there aren't further details if Windows 10 will be supported in the future, your feedback is appreciated and please know it won't be taken for granted.

If you have of our latest Fitbit devices, let me recommend borrowing a compatible mobile device from a friend or relative to sync and keep your details updated. You'll find more information about our compatibility requirements here.
