HI,
I want to see the time when I'm walking and maybe set an alarm. I find too many data items come up that I don't need because I don't know what they mean....what do all the screens refer to? I need the actual time of day to get back to my desk for meetings. Can I make that the first screen after the GPS gets connected? I hope these screens and be shut off or moved to an order that suits the walking activity. I like my fitbit to show me the time while I walk outdoors. Thank you for your help.

Hi, @KarimaK , although you cannot use the alarm function while you are using the exercise app, you can set a time goal, which should do pretty much the same thing. For instance if you want to walk for an hour before getting back to your desk, you can set your goal for one hour. You can also set your Sense so that you can see the time of day the whole time you are walking.
During an exercise activity your Sense can display various stats, as you know. The small ones at the top and the bottom are fixed once you have chosen what you would like displayed, and the larger, middle one, is set so you can scroll through several stats (all stats is the default setting) or you can choose a single, fixed stat, and for you presumably this would be time of day.
To set which stats show while you are walking, when you are ready to start your activity, from the clock face of your Sense swipe left to go to the Exercise app, tap to open, and swipe to find “Walk” then tap to open. But don’t press the triangle to begin yet! Instead swipe up to change your settings. Keep swiping until you see “Show Stats”. Choose a stat for the top - you might like Distance or Steps or any of the other options. Tap on the circle for your chosen stat and then swipe left to go to Middle. That’s the big one and where you might like Time of Day. Unselect any stats you don’t want. If you only choose only Time of Day it will not change during your walk and will show you that the whole time. If you choose more than one stat for the middle then during your walk you can swipe to see the different stats during your walk.
Next choose the bottom stat (sounds like you might want to know how long you have been walking so you could choose “time elapsed”).
Finally, to make absolutely sure you are back at your desk on time, you might like to set a goal for your walk, so that your Sense will vibrate to alert you when you have walked for the chosen amount of time - or perhaps you want it to vibrate when half the time has elapsed so you can turn around - it’s up to you!
So when you have set your chosen stats, swipe up again to find “Start with a goal” Tap on that and swipe up to see “Time”. Set it for how long you would like to walk. Don’t do this until you are ready to start, as the clock begins immediately!!
The good news is that you only need to do this once! Once you have chosen your preferred settings for the “Walk” exercise they will remain selected each time you start that activity - unless you decide to change one of the settings.
You can also, as you probably know, set the screen so that it is on all the time during your exercise, but this will affect the battery life.
I hope this helps! Please post again if anything is unclear.
