Cannot login the Fitbit app - despite having it working for many years. Something is happening.

I can login here on my Macbook pro computer but if I download the Fitbit app and login using the same info, all I get that the username or password is incorrect. No matter what I try, reset the phone, deleting the app and re-installing the app. Login with my gmail account, whatever I try.

It looks like there is some disconnection with my iphone despite that the watch is connected with the bluetooth. I have had the app working for many years but 6 days ago something happened only with the Fitbit App and now I cannot login. Please share if you have the same problem.

Were you using 3rd party options such as signing up fitbit acct initially via Google sign in etc?

If you do.. simply just click on forget password and reset your id and you can access again. But this time round I didn't sign in via 3rd party plug in but simply just sign in to fitbit

No matter what I try this window always pops up and no matter what I change the password many times I cannot get in. Looks like I need to establish new email address just for fit bit because the login keeps telling me that this password is already in use with another account.
Very steange activity there with fitbit.
