Cannot turn Sense GPS off with the online dashboard?

I'm getting 2,5 days of battery life with my new Sense. Disinstalled the SpO2 tracker already and I'm now looking into shutting off the GPS entirely outside activities.

Unlike any simple phone on the market, there seems to be no clear 'on-off' marker for the GPS. The only way seems to be going in an online dashboard and turning it off. Only, this didn't work for me either...

When I click 'GPS' in the online settings menu, no drop down occurs. It sais the GPS is 'on' but I cannot change it. I tested this on laptop and on a browser on my phone, same behaviour.

Has anyone also experienced this? I'd like to hear your solution!

As far as I know, GPS doesn't work outside activities. I'm not sure what this option is supposed to be doing.

Hello @896gerard and welcome to the Community.  @t.parker is correct about the GPS.  It is on only when you are using one of the GPS enabled exercises.  When you are done, it turns off.  There are errors on the web dashboard page.  Many of the choices don't apply to the Sense and Versa 3, because these are controlled on the device

IMO, the only reason to use the web dashboard with a Sense is to change to a 24 hour clock.

Welcome to the Fitbit community.

SpO2 does use up battery overnight but check if you have snore and noise detection on. It's even more of a battery drain. If you've already figured out you have no snoring or noise issues, you can turn it off. That's what I did. I chose to keep SpO2 since it's one of the areas in the Health Metrics.

Snore detection also uses battery. Fitbit recomeneds topping the battery after using the GPS to record an exercised
