Did you mean:

Constant energy burn rate if logging after workout

Hi!

Today I was wearing my Sense and fogot to turn on the Bike tracking mode.

After half hour I noticed this and made a manual log of my workout. But when I do so it states a constant energy burn rate instead of the dynamic one you get when manually starting the tracking mode on the device.

Is there any way to force Fitbit into calculating the proper energy burn rate?

Thank you!

PS: I googled a fair 20 minutes before posting. Sorry if I missed an answer.

When you manually log a workout, those parameters override any data that was actually recorded, including heart rate.  Unfortunately there is no way of combining them.   It's as if Fitbit figures the reason you are manually logging it must be because you were not wearing the tracker.

It used to be that if you deleted the manually logged workout, it would at least go back to what had been recorded, but it doesn't seem to work that way any more.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
