Hi @SkinnyG - definitely odd. Try sync and then do a full Shutdown from the watch Settings menu. Wait at least 10 seconds before placing on the charger to restart it and charge it.
If that doesn't cure it try chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & support, Contact Customer support.
