After the latest update, when I try to log calories they won't show up on the home screen. It just keeps buffering. I've uninstalled the app and even restarted my phone and nothing helps. Any ideas as to what the problem is or is just a glitch in the app? I have a new Charge 6 and Premium.

Frequently calories burned show on the main page but do not update on the food page (it will show 0 calories burned at like noon), and likewise logged food sometimes doesn't show up on the main page.
Here, for instance, it has been stuck at 34 all day despite me having logged over 1200 calories. I've cleared the cache, restarted, turned Bluetooth off and on, and all the usual things multiple times today and I still can't make it update.
How do I make these screens talk to each other?

The app is showing zero or not anywhere close to the correct calorie totals on some days. This is going back to, at least, May 2025 from what I've been able to tell. When I go to a day in question and look at the separate food item entries, the calories are correct. It just seems to be on the main page of the app that shows the overall totals. In addition, the "calories below target" amounts on the main page are not correct either when looking at each individual day and comparing the "daily calorie goal" amounts; the totals don't add up!
Another issue since Google has taken over.
Way to Google!

Having the same problem here, since yesterday. Running Android 16 with the 5 July updates, on Pixel 6A. Watch says it is version 66.20001.214.24.
I've restarted both the phone and watch, as well as cleared the Fitbit app cache. Didn't help. I have an old Fitbit account and haven't yet migrated it to a Google account, in case that makes any difference.

I had the same problem earlier today. Now no data is syncing except for steps and getting an error message when syncing (opened a separate thread for the syncing issue, unsure if related)

I can enter food if I specifically go to that option and add it, however my home screen shows "0" calories in and isn't updating so I don't have a good estimate for the remainder of the day.
This started yesterday

I have the opposite problem. My calories won't show on the main screen. Water intake works but not calories. Everything else syncs correctly.

Hi, @ElaineRM & @BumperGirl, welcome, may I assume you are talking about the Food tile in the "Today" screen of your Fitbit app on your phone? This Issue is already escalated at Solved: Re: Nutrition Food Data Metric Gray'ed Out on Toda... - Fitbit Community. I'm also replicating this, and I'm confident it will be resolved shortly.
Cheers

Is there an update on this?
I've been unable to use the food icon on the main page but it is logged on the food page. This has been all day and I've done all the usual fixes you suggest.
The icon is just blank!

Sorry, that was for the fitbit guy that replied to you. It's really annoying! Syncing in general has been crap for months.
