My sense 2 got stuck in a rebooting loop last night for no apparent reason. After following advice from the internet, to follow sequences of long button pushes, it appears I have initiated a factory reset without unpairing it from my phone. It is now rebooting to the message of data not cleared, synch and try again. I cant synch it though, as it is not communicating with the phone.
I unpaired it from the phone, removed it from the bluetooth list, turned blue tooth off and on again, restarted my phone and finally removed and reinstalled the app. When I try and re-pair it with the sense, it tells me there is no sense nearby [it is on the charger] next to the phone.
I have rebooted the device multiple times, and done another reset [I think]. No change.
UPDATE: we noticed that on an android phone, there was a notification saying a sense was looking to be set up, so I'm trying to set it back up through my spare android phone [my iphones didn't see it at all]. It is currently updating, though it has been doing that for a very long time, with no obvious progress.

Please mark complete, I finally got the update done using an android phone, then unpaired and paired back to my iPhone. All is well again.
I'm hoping my data is slowly backing back up to my phone, as I seem t have lost years of data in the process.
