So my Sense never had a single issue till after the latest firmware update. It flipped out, started cycling a bunch of screens, and now it won't power up, and Fitbit's response is "here is a 35% discount on a new one"? Seems like a scam to get people to buy new devices to me. Release an malicious update to scrash devices to sell new ones. I would have more respect for the company of they were honest and said "yeah we messed up, we ruined your device with the update, sorry".
What new firmware update are folks posting about? An actual update on the watch itself? I have seen numerous posts here about the new firmware update on a Sense watch. My Sense has not received or prompted me for any updates since I first bought it and started wearing it back in February.
Best AnswerYes, I was prompted to update my sense. It's version 44.128.6.17 for me. And after the update my sense is toast. I would not recommend any updates.

OK, thanks for the update. That's the same version I have. I think I have been on that firmware version since buying mine in February.
