Distance and steps seem way off.

I used my phone and watch today for a walk. The phone was in my shirt pocket and the watch obviously on my wrist. Both had GPS on, although it seemed to disconnect a bunch on the watch. The phone (pixel 3xl) showed 8.45 miles and 14,294 steps. The sense had 6.44 miles and 16,065 steps. That's a big difference in my opinion and I think the sense is the one that is incorrect. Makes me wonder about the other info from it.

I can't tell which, if either, is correct, but 14,294 does not seem enough steps for 8.45 miles.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

That's true. Just Google steps in a mile.. 2000. They are both off based on that.

Yes, the steps and other numbers are not accurate. I was walking for over 30 minutes in the grocery store and not a single step was registered I guess because my arms were on the shopping cart and not moving. I also noticed while I was sitting and petting our dogs the steps were being recorded even though I was sitting.

Yeah, I'm not at all impressed with the sense. I'll be returning it. I have a ticwatch pro 3 coming Wednesday and if I don't like that I'll be done with smartwatches unless I switch to apple lol.
