Will flying in a small non pressurized airplane affect floors counted?

It tracks floors by measuring changes in air pressure but it only counts them if it detects that you were stepping during that drop in pressure. This avoids getting floors in error when, for example, you go up in an elevator. It should also avoid getting floors in error when flying but, as noted, turbulence while climbing might cause a few floors by mistake.

Thank you.
I’ll be putting this to the test tomorrow then.
I was just wondering if I needed to remove it prior to flying.

So why am I getting floors when walking on a flat track?

Well, @SunsetRunner , my Sense Floor count has been so, but so overinflated since May/June that my question is rather: will my floor count affect my flying? It's that I've just received this hilarious Fitbit badge:
