Do you need premium for the ECG function?

Hi,
I'm a long time fitbit user, but have never bothered to get premium besides the free trial. I'm looking at a new fitbit and would love to be able to take my ECG, but not if I need to buy fitbit premium as so far in the free trial premium hasn't been worth the money for me.
Does anybody know if the ECG function also works without premium (otherwise I'll likely go for a completely different brand or just get the versa and save 100 bucks.)
Thanks in advance for the info!

Yes, you can use ECG with basic. I actually delayed activating the free premium trial because I wanted to be certain that ECG would work with basic. 😁

Thank you! I wanted to be sure before ordering. It'll be my 'have to start dialysis' present from my husband to me, but before spending a crapton of money I wanted to make sure it would be worth it 🙂

I click the fitbit today, go to health and reports, then it brings me to 6 month free trial and won't let me past that or give any other choices... I'm stumped.
