Has anyone gotten Assistant to work? I've installed it on my Sense but it doesn't seem to "hear" me when I speak. Any ideas?

It does if your microphone is working. Mine worked up until a week ago. Now it doesn't register that I'm even talking.

I open the Fitbit app on my phone then open Assistant app on Sense. I see "Hi, how can I help?". It doesn't respond to my voice and then next screen is "Try saying things like..."

It seems like your microphone not working is a general problem, affecting quite a few people.
Probably best to inform Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

When using Google assistant on the wrist, everything is done from the wrist.
First I'll assume you have, through the Fitbit app, setup Google Assistant.
Now on the Sense.
Hold in the button.
A message pops up.
Start talking and release the button. As you talk you should see a wavy line on the sense.
Failure to release the button soon enough will restart the tracker.
Your phone only needs to be close enough for a Bluetooth connection.

Can you answer phone calls from the wrist? Or respond to text with voice?

I spent a while with support and they couldn't fix it. I'm waiting to hear from someone else.
