@PolyDean. Certainly not racist.
A lot of these "medical" features depend on Fitbit getting regulatory approval in each country. You can't just start selling a device which claims to track certain medical conditions (in this case AFib), it first has to pass strict criteria set by the countries medical regulator.
So in this case, Fitbit has had to disable this feature until it passes the required certification.
The list of supported countries for the ECG functionality are listed at the bottom of this page (here).
