ECG app doesn't work on Sense

For the past two days, my Sense has refused to recognize my rhumb/finger placement when I try to take an ECG reading. The number 30 pops on then off and the screen then continues to tell me to place my finger and thumb on the corners. As ECG was the ONLY reason I purchased the Sense in the first place, needless to say I am upset. Can you help me with this? Or is it a malfunction that others are having as well??

Was it working for you before the past 2 days, or was this just set up 2 days ago?

You might try making sure making fingertips are actually touching the outside metal ring, and no built-up dirt on metal ring.  I just tried putting my fingertips near the corners but touching the top of display instead of side, and got exactly the reaction you describe.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I just did the assessment but my sense continues to say I have to set it up on my phone.
