The ECG was one of the primary reasons I went with a Sense.
Starting in mid-November when I attempted to use the ECG app I would be prompted to place my fingers correctly. As soon as I would touch the sensors it would flash briefly to the 30 second timer, then revert to the previous "place thumb and forefinger" direction. This happened countless times no matter how I adjusted grip, position, or pressure.
I decided to try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it.
I also rebooted the sense to make sure everything was reset.
The ECG app is now taking me through the original set up and, once again, cannot register my fingers on the metal corners. This also causes the ECG app to "stick", I have to return to the main screen face.
Is this a known issue? I'm already trying to get a resolution for charging difficulties - should I add this to the grievances and push for a replacement?

You didn't mention it but do you have particularly dry or rough hands. If so that might make your skin not conductive enough. I'd try right after showering when your hands should be moistest and most conductive.
If that doesn't help then I'd ask for a replacement, you may have a defective unit.
