ECG not working

Can anyone help me get the ecg monitor to actually take a reading? When i open the app on the watch it just tells me to go to the app on phone and open discover tab to find results....but it won't let me take a reading?! I've checked that tab and there it just says there's no results to view as no reading! Confused!

Hi, @Baxterv welcome to the community, may I draw your attention to What is the Fitbit ECG app?  which provides clear detailed instructions on accessing the ECG function. You do not mention which country you are in, sadly some have yet to approve its use. There is a list of countries that do approve the ECG at the bottom of this page.

I live in the US and my ECG was working but it hasn't worked in a few weeks now.  Tells me to open fitbit app and go to the discover tab. And then I just see my past results.  I can't take a ECG reading. Can you please help?
