ECG results on Sense stopped syncing

My EKG results stopped syncing from the sense to the Fitbit app.  All other data is still properly syncing.  I’ve already done trouble shooting by turning off and on the Bluetooth and also turning off and on both the Sense and the iPhone

Hello @Timr13 Welcome to the Community Forums! Thank you for the troubleshooting steps you've tried prior to posting.

If you take more than 5 ECG readings before syncing, they won't appear in the Fitbit App. I would suggest you to sync your Sense to save the readings. For more information, please check: What is the Fitbit ECG app?

If this continues, please confirm if you followed all the tips suggested here and confirm the model of your mobile device and its operating system.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hello

Thanks for the reply. I have done everything you outlined on the email as well as the tips for syncing the Sense. I sync several times a day and also when I perform a EDA scan, a ECG or any exercise. Everything syncs properly except for the ECG. Through testing I have now done more than 5 ECGs that won’t sync and getting the message “open the Fitbit mobile app to sync and save past data. Otherwise some assessments may be lost.” To my thst means those readings are not properly being synced. The last reading synced was 12/24/20.

I have a iPhone XS Max and it on version 14.3 which is the last version available to me

@Timr13 It's good to se you around! @JennLovesTravel Welcome to the Community Forums!

@JennLovesTravel I was informed by the Support Team that you have contacted them and they have provided assistance. If you have questions about the outcome of your case, I recommend replying back to the email they sent to you.

@Timr13 I would suggest that you please confirm that your Sense is connected to Wi-Fi, then please force quit the Fitbit App and manually sync your Sense. For manually sync, please check: How do Fitbit devices sync their data?

On a side note, please take into consideration that ECG results don’t appear immediately. It takes at least 10 seconds (and up to 10 minutes) to see the ECG results in the Fitbit app.

Wilson - thanks for the reply.  I have responded to their email and have done everything they recommended.  Once sensed all other activity, including the EDA scan sync’s, except the ECG.  The last EDA sync was 12/24/20

I'm having the same issue. I have a pixel 3 XL (android), and my Sense ECG synced 2 times in February but no results show up since.Everything else syncs fine. Did this get resolved? Is there a solution?

I had the same issue with my ECG reports not syncing to the app for the last 2 weeks. I did a shutdown of the device and that didn't help. Gave up for a couple of days and then today did a force stop of the app through settings. At first it didn't look like it helped but I checked for the recent ECG reports that were missing and they showed up!

I've recently been having the same trouble: ECGs taken don't show up in the Fitbit app after syncing. I found that a restart of the watch had no effect on the problem, but doing a force-stop on the Fitbit app on my phone (Android v3.62, version was updated on Jun 24, 2002), caused some of the ECGs to show up after restarting the Fitbit app and manually selecting the watch to sync.

This was particularly troubling, because I'm an Afib patient, recently had an ablation, and I've been trying to diagnose a potentially serious arrythmia. Not being able to display the 30 second ECGs that I take is a serious, serious, SERIOUS, major malfunction, repeat, a MAJOR MALFUNCTION, in Fitbit software. It's particularly disturbing that there is no indicated error message in the Fitbit app, it just fails to upload the ECG data.

The ECGs that I'm getting look rather strange, with a trace that looks like half-dome in side view showing up as often as every 4 beats. The ECG software is so bat**ahem** complicated that I thought it was some strange electrical problem with the Sense watch, but it seems not. Its really frustrating that the unreliability of the ECG software has been delaying my understanding of this serious health issue.
