Editing activity for “Driving”

I am trying to enter “Driving” as an activity to negate all the steps it counted while I was driving, but it’s not negating the steps. The activity is saved, but step count hasn’t changed.

Incorrect subject title! I originally had an issue with the calorie thing, but I figured that out. Now it’s just a steps issue.

Hi @CarolineRH, welcome to  the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

I'm glad to help you with the negation of your steps by logging a driving activity. I appreciate the steps you have already tried.

Even if you are aware about the time you were driving, check if there actually were logged steps during your drive activity. On the "today" tab tap on the shoe. You can search the day in question with the little arrow on the left.

You can locate more accuratelly the time during the day when those steps were logged.

I hope this tips will be helpful for you to resolve your issue. Have a nice day!

I have the same issue as @CarolineRH . I drive a school bus 7 hours a day, which logs many, many steps! I've gone in and added driving as an exercise, but it doesn't remove the steps, which alters the calorie burn and the cardio load. Every day, it tells me to take a break, that I've trained hard, etc. At this point, my charge 6 is only a sleep tracker and a timepiece.  Nothing else is accurate, reliable , or helpful. I don't know if you (@davidfitbit) are an actual Fitbit employee or a bot or some random dude, but unless you have a usable fix, you probably needn't reply.  Rant over......
