Fall Detection?

It was in the documentation and now it is gone?  Like poof, it never existed.  It was the sole reason I bought the watch!  Please tell me I am just being dense and it's in the settings somewhere?  My husband died recently so I am alone and wanted this feature.  Please let me know if anyone has any information?

Sorry, but I don't think I ever saw that mentioned for Fitbit.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I also just got an email that said it would use Bluetooth to connect to my phone so I could take calls but I click on the link and I get this generic page "Product Information" so it still is being worked on I guess?

I don't think FitBit itself has a fall detection feature, but we just downloaded this new app called BUDDY for my grandmother onto her FitBit. It has fall detection and a bunch of other really cool features. They're doing a free beta right now so I'll link the app here:

to the best of my knowledge Fitbit has never claimed fall detection. However, the Buddy app looks interesting. See the post from JosephWoo677 below.

And I don't think has ever said it would take calls.  It is not a phone, after all. However, it can show notifications that a call has been received on your phone, if it is nearby.  My wife uses this because her phone is generally in her bag 😀 and she can't hear the ring, but she is alerted to the call by the Versa buzz and the message that there is a call.

The Buddy app might be good, but I wouldn't take the word of above poster.  They were posting same message about grandmother yesterday under another user name.
